El post de hoy va de abrigos... este invierno los veremos de todos los colores y tejidos, desde los de pelo, que ya llevan varias temporadas con nosotras hasta los de lana....

The value of friendship...

El otoño llega a su fín y la entrada del invierno cada vez está más cerca, aunque hasta hace una semana el clima era más primaveral que invernal. 

Ha llegado la hora de sacar nuestros abrigos de pelo, bufandas, sombreros, etc... aunque yo para seros sincera echo de menos los días largos de verano, el sol y la playa... el invierno no es mi estación favorita.

Así que para entrar en calor os dejo algunos de los street styles  que más me han gustado de estos meses.

Hace 7 años en Dubai, a través de un amigo emirati conocí a la que hoy es una gran amiga, mi querida Lorena Vergani.

Desde entonces y a pesar de la distancia nuestra amistad ha ido en aumento. 

Seguramente que vostr@s también teneis ese amig@ especial que aunque la distancia o el tiempo no os permita veros, sabéis que esa persona siempre estará ahí.

7 years ago in Dubai, thanks to an Emirati friend, I met a person who is a great friend today, my dear Lorena Vergani.

Since then and despite the distance our friendship has grown.

Surely you also have that special friend who, despite the distance or time, you know that such person will always be there.

Lorena lleva muchos años viviendo y trabajando en Paris, es una de las mujeres con más clase y estilo que conozco. Ella no sólo es guapa por fuera, por dentro es aún mejor. Sincera, romántica, inteligente, humilde, generosa y con un gran valor de la amistad, es mi manera de definirla.

Burning Man

Desde hace 20 años, a finales del mes de agosto y durante una semana se celebra en la ciudad efímera de Black Rock City, en el desierto de Nevada ( EEUU), el Burning Man Festival ( Festival del Hombre Ardiente).

Un festival de carácter neohippie, en el que durante una semana se concentran miles de personas. 

El dinero está prohibido, todo se regala, se comparte o se intercambia. Cada uno de los asistentes deberá llevar todo lo imprescindible para subsistir toda la semana. Podrá vestir como quiera y es el lugar perfecto para dar rienda suelta a la creatividad artística.

El festival finaliza el día del Labor day, el sábado por la noche se realiza la quema de la gran escultura de madera con forma de hombre.

Uno de mis sueños es asistir a este festival, según cuentan hay que vivirlo para describir las sensaciones que uno siente al estar allí, espero poder hacerlo algún día!

For 20 years, at the end of August and takes place for a week in the ephemeral city of Black Rock City in the Nevada desert (USA), the Burning Man Festival.

A festival with neohippie character, which for a week, thousands of people are concentrated. Money is forbidden, everything is given away, shared or exchanged. Each of the participants must bring everything necessary to survive all week. You can dress as you like and is the perfect place to unleash artistic creativity.

The festival ends on Labor Day, the Saturday night burning the large sculpture made of wood which is shaped like a man.

One of my dreams is to attend this festival, they say, have to live this experience to describe the sensations you feel being there, I hope to do it someday!

El otoño está cada vez más cerca y con él el frío, así que ya hay que cambiar el chip y empezar a pensar en nuestro fondo de armario para ver si nos falta alguna pieza que se llevará esta temporada.

Autumn is getting closer and with it the cold, so we have to change the chip and start thinking about our wardrobe, to see if we lack a garment that will be fashionable this season.

Los flecos, vuelven otra vez con fuerza.

The fringes are fashionable again.

El estilo Boho, uno de mis favoritos y que este verano ya estuvo muy de moda, se queda con nosotros en su versión invernal.

Boho style, one of my favorites and this summer was already very fashionable, stays with us in the winter version.

Los abrigos de pelo que tanto vimos el invierno pasado podéis conservarlos, porque esta temporada vuelven con fuerza.

Hair coats, which both have seen last winter, you can keep them, because this season back with power.

Y otra de las tendencias que llega con fuerza de nuevo es la moda de los 60, pantalones acampanados en todas sus versiones.

And another trend that comes back is fashion from the 60s, flared pants in all versions.

Back to school!

Qué tal chicas? cómo lleváis la vuelta de las vacaciones? yo ya echando de menos los días de sol, playa y relax, porque aquí en esta tierra parece que ya ha empezado el otoño.

Esta semana es la Fashion Week en New York y todas las grandes firmas nos ponen los dientes largos mostrándonos lo que se llevará la primavera y el verano que viene. 

Y entre desfile y desfile yo me quedo con algunos outfits que se han podido ver estos días por las calles de New York ; )

Hi girls! how is being the return of the holidays? I´m missing already sunny days, beach and relax, because here in this place looks like it has begun the fall. 

This week is Fashion Week in New York and all the big names, remind us again the summer, and what will be fashionable next summer. 

And between a fashion show and another one, I leave to you some outfits which have been seen these days on the streets of New York ; )

Yo todavía no me he acostumbrado a este tiempo, prefiero el calor de mi querido Dubai : ( , pero como aún me quedaré un tiempo por aquí no me que otra que adaptarme a este clima.

Ahora que se acaban los días de playa y sol, nuestro broceado se va perdiendo, pero para que os dure un poquito más quiero hablaros de un producto que he empezado a usar y de verdad que consigue un tono bronceado muy natural, es un autobronceador concentrado de CLARINS, hay dos versiones, una para rostro y otra para cuerpo, sólo tenéis que mezclar unas 2 o 3 gotas de este producto con vuestra crema hidratante diaria y listo. 

Eso sí, acordaros antes de haceros un buen peeling. ; )

 I have not yet used to this weather, I prefer the heat of my dear Dubai, but as I'll stay here a while still, I can only adapt to this climate. : (

Now  that the days of beach and sun are over, our tan is being lost, but to remain it a little more, I want to talk you about a product that I started to use and which achieves a very natural tan, it is a concentrated self tanner from CLARINS, there are two versions, one for the face and another one for body, you just have to mix about 2 or 3 drops of this product with your daily moisturizer and ready!

Of course, do a good peeling before !. ; )

My beloved Dubai ( Part. 2) ....

 Dubai es una ciudad vibrante, todo puede suceder, pero esta vez os voy a hablar de la vida nocturna en esta increíble ciudad.

Aunque cada muy poco tiempo van abriendo más y más restaurantes, bares y clubs, los que os voy a mencionar son los que más están de moda ahora mismo.

En Dubai corres el peligro de que salgas el día que salgas siempre encontrarás buen ambiente, eso sí, sabiendo qué días de la semana están mejor unos sitios que otros.

Dubai is a vibrant city, anything can happen, but this time I am going to talk about the nightlife in this amazing city.

Although each very short time are opening more and more restaurants, bars and clubs, I am going to mention to you  the ones which are more fashionable now.

In Dubai, you run the risk that the day you go out you always find good atmosphere, though, knowing what day of the week some places are better than others.

Sho Cho : es un mítico de Dubai, aunque lleva muchos años abierto nunca pasa de moda, tiene una gran terraza sobre el mar, las noches más divertidas son los viernes y los domingos en la 80´s night.

Sho Cho: is a mythical place in Dubai, although it has long been open, never gets old, has a large terrace on the sea, the most fun nights are on Fridays and Sundays at 80's night.

Pier 7 : es un edificio sobre la Marina y comunicado a través del Marina Mall el cual alberga 7 restaurantes diferentes, a los que puedes ir a cenar o simplemente a tomar una copa, entre ellos destacaría el Asia Asia y el Atelier M, éste último tiene una terraza en la ultima planta donde los martes organizan un ladies night y las chicas tenemos la gran suerte de que en la entrada nos obsequian con varias bebidas y coktails gratis.

Pier 7: a building over the Marina and communicated through the Marina Mall which hosts seven different restaurants where you can go for dinner or just a drink, I would highlight among them the Asia Asia, and the Atelier M, the last one has a terrace on the last floor, where they organize on Tuesdays the Ladies night. Here the girls are lucky! at the entrance they give us free drinks and cocktails ; )

Provocateur: es uno de los Clubs más populares ahora mismo, situado en el nuevo Hotel Four Seasons de Jumeirah Beach, para mí las mejores noches la de los jueves o la de los domingos.

Provocateur: it is now one of the most popular clubs, located in the new Four Seasons Hotel at Jumeirah Beach, for me the best nights are Thursdays or Sundays.

Jazz Club de Cavalli: aunque el Cavalli Club lleva abierto varios años, este año han abierto dentro de este gran lugar un club de Jazz, para mí de los mejores de Dubai y muy recomendable, con una banda en directo increíble. Mi día favorito para ir son los viernes.

Cavalli´s Jazz Club : Cavalli Club although has been open for several years, this year they have opened within this great place, a Jazz club, for me the best in Dubai and highly recommended, with a great live band. My favorite day to go are on fridays.

  Aquí estoy de nuevo, hace unas semanas que regresé de Dubai, mi segundo hogar y desde la ultima vez que estuve aquí, han abierto muchas zonas y sitios nuevos, Dubai siempre está en crecimiento.

 Hoy me gustaría hablaros de algunos de los sitios que he descubierto.

  The Boxpark : situado en Al Wasl Road, han transformado toda esta calle en un distrito obligado para el shopping, consiguiendo que unos contenedores se transformen en las boutiques más fashion de la ciudad, dando así un aire muy cool y muy funky a esta zona.

  Hello everyone!

  Here I am again, a few weeks ago I returned from Dubai, which is my second home, since the last time I was here, have opened many areas and new sites, Dubai is always growing.

  I've been there almost two weeks and I would like to tell you about some places I´ve discovered.

  The Boxpark: located on Al Wasl Road, they have transformed all this street a must for shopping and have managed to some containers are transformed into some of the most fashionable boutiques in town, giving a very cool and funky air to this area.

Citywalk : está en el cruce entre Al Wasl Road y Al Safa Road, otra zona de visita obligada para las compras o simplemente para sentarse en alguna de sus terrazas a comer o cenar.

Citywalk: is at the junction of Al Wasl Road and Al Safa Road, another area to visit for shopping or just to sit in one of its terraces for lunch or dinner.

Por último está el Galleria Mall: situado también en Al Wasl Road, aquí podréis encontrar muchas tiendas de moda, cafés, etc. Uno de los cafés que más me han gustado es el Tashas, su decoración estilo colonial lo convierte en un lugar muy acogedor.

Finally there is the Galleria Mall: Also located on Al Wasl Road, here you can find many boutiques, cafes, etc. One of the cafes that I really liked is the Tashas Café, colonial style decor makes it a very welcoming place.

Y para las fans de la manicura y pedicura aquí encontraréis un lugar fantástico, es el SOH Art and Beauty, un salón de belleza donde os harán las mani-pedi más artísticas que he visto.

And for fans of manicure and pedicure here you will find a fantastic place, is the SOH Art and Beauty is a beauty salon where they will make the mani-pedi more artistic than I've seen.
