Feliz año a todos!
Año nuevo y nuevos propósitos, entre ellos continuar con mi blog que lo tenía abandonado desde hace muchos meses.
En todo este tiempo he estado viviendo en Qatar, me fuí en Mayo con un proyecto que parecía muy interesante, muchas ilusiones y ganas de comenzar una nueva vida, pero al final todo se quedó en eso... en una simple ilusión... había sido contratada por una firma de joyería muy de moda en España ahora mismo, mi misión era abrir la primera tienda en Oriente Medio, la primera se abriría en Doha y en un año continuaríamos con Dubai, Abu Dhabi y Arabia Saudí.... pero todo se quedó en el aire... entre la mala gestión y poca profesionalidad de los franquiciados no se consiguió ninguno de los objetivos marcados desde el principio.... es increíble como alguna gente puede jugar con el futuro profesional de las personas, pero yo siempre digo que el tiempo acabará poniendo a cada uno en su sitio...
Hace 3 semanas por fin pude regresar a España, y digo por fin, porque debido a la poca profesionalidad de esta gente, por llamarla de alguna manera, tuve muchos problemas para salir del país, cosa que en mis 9 años viviendo en Emiratos Árabes nunca me había pasado algo semejante.
Pero he aprendido mucho de esta experiencia, he vivido muchos momentos de angustia y estrés pero también he conocido a gente maravillosa que muchos de ellos formaran parte de mi vida para siempre.
El único consejo que me queda por daros es que nunca aceptéis una oferta laboral en un país extranjero sin aseguraros antes de que esté todo bien especificado por escrito, porque sino una vez que lleguéis allí os la pueden jugar como me pasó a mí.
Pero en esos meses he conocido a gente y sitios geniales de los que me gustaría hablaros en los siguientes post que publicaré por si algún día visitáis este país.

New year and new purposes, including continuing my blog that I had abandoned for many months.
In all this time I've been living in Qatar, I went in May with a project that it looked very interesting, many illusions and desire to start a new life, but at the end all was that ... on a simple illusion ... I was hired by a jewelry brand very popular in Spain right now, my mission was to open the first store in the Middle East, the first one would open in Doha and a year later we would continue with Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia. ... but all was in the air ... between poor and unprofessional management of the franchisees none of the targets was achieved from the beginning .... it's amazing how some people can play with illusions and future professional people, but I always say that time will eventually puts everyone in place. ...
3 weeks ago finally I returned to Spain, and I say finally because of the low professionalism of these people, to call in some way, I had many problems to leave the country, which in my 9 years living in UAE never something similar happened to me.
But I learned a lot from this experience, I have lived many moments of anxiety and stress, but I have also met some wonderful people that many of them were part of my life forever.
The only advice I can give you is to never ACCEPT a job offer in a foreign country without being all well specified in writing, I already have learned.
In those months I have met great people and places which I would tell in the following post which I will post if someday you visit this country.
Era el lugar donde yo vivía, una isla artificial, aquí podéis encontrar una magnífica Marina poblada de restaurantes, cafés, supermercado y boutiques, es una buena opción para pasar el día los fines de semana.
Hasta ahora en ninguno de los restaurantes y cafés de la Pearl no se vendía ningún tipo de bebida alcohólica pero desde hace unos días con la apertura del nuevo hotel Kempinski ya es posible ; ), eso sí, sólo en los restaurantes y bares del hotel.
En la isla de La Perla hay varias pequeñas playas, pero mi favorita era la playa de Venezia, situada en el Qanat Quartier.

It was the place where I lived, an artificial island, here you can find a magnificent Marina with cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and boutiques, is a good choice to spend the day on the weekends.
So far in any of the restaurants and cafes of the Pearl was not allowed to sell any alcoholic beverage, but a few days ago with the opening of the new Kempinski Hotel is already possible to have a drink in his restaurants and bars .
In the Pearl there are several small beaches, for me the best one was Venezia Beach which is located in Qanat Quartier.

Katara
Otro de los sitios interesantes para visitar es Katara Cultural Village, situado entre La Pearl y Westbay.
Es un centro multicultural en el que en época de Ramadán y sobre todo en invierno se organizan muchos conciertos y actividades culturales, una zona muy agradable para pasear, cenar o visitar alguna exposición de arte.

Another interesting places to visit is Katara Cultural Village, located between the Pearl and Westbay.
It is a multicultural center where in times of Ramadan and especially in winter they organize many concerts and cultural activities, a very pleasant place to walk, dine or visit some art exhibition.
